On Wednesday 20th November, the Year 8 girls headed to Paignton Rugby club to take part in a girl’s rugby festival! We took part in five different rugby activities to practice passing, dodging, catching and throwing in a mixture of tag rugby games. Coaches leading the session praised Combe Pafford for their engagement and effort in those sessions!

After lunch, the girls were able to play a tag rugby tournament against other schools and again were praised for their compassion and teamwork throughout the afternoon, shaking hands with the opposition at the end of each match. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the day and by the end were happy to get a little muddy, all in the spirit of rugby!
