Year 7 Trip to The Eden Project
7J, 7O and 7B went on a fantastic trip to the Eden Project.
We took part in a workshop called ‘Rainforests Uncovered’ and the pupils were able to think about what it would be like to be part of a tribe. They thought about the three main things needed for survival; food, shelter and their health. We explored the rainforest biome and searched for the plants they used for medicines and to meet their basic needs. All the pupils were well behaved and particularly enjoyed the swinging rope bridge and the part where they could experience what it would feel like to be in a cloud. A brilliant trip was had by everyone and it was the perfect way to explore our learning in Topic further.
