This chick photo is too cute not to share! 

After a failed attempt to hatch some chicks in an incubator, it was an exciting surprise to find three chicks under the hens today! 

We are letting the hens raise them naturally, so we are keeping our interference to a minimum (they've just been checked over). As they grow, they'll venture out more and the children will be able see them from a distance
