Inside, the pupils immersed themselves in being engineers just like Brunel! They wore top hats and rebuilt models of bridges, including the Royal Albert Bridge. Another highlight of the trip was being able to control live cameras, which allowed pupils to view the Royal Albert Bridge at close range.

We were very proud of the pupils' behaviour on the trip, and it was wonderful to see both classes working within teams and sharing resources in the centre. We finished the morning by going outside to view the Royal Albert Bridge, and the pupils were amazed that Brunel’s bridge was still standing and being used almost 170 years later! How inspiring!?
