In November, we got to welcome a fantastic opera to the school! The production of ‘Wellies’ followed the character of Millie and her two wellies, Lefty and Righty, who took her on an adventure. It was absolutely wonderful to see how so many of our young people interacted and engaged in this opera. Some of us were unsure about an opera to begin with, but it was an incredibly immersive opportunity for us all.

There were fish and chips being stolen by sneaky seagulls, crazy chefs and a beautiful moment at the end where we had the opportunity to put a star up in space for people who we missed. There were some tears from staff who were blown away by this performance and our students.
