Year 8 visit to Escot
A Day in the life of an Anglo-Saxon 8B 8N and 8P
Pupils in 8B, 8N and 8P recently went to visit the living histories
Saxon village at Wildwood Escot in Ottery St Mary.
We had a fantastic day learning about how the Saxons lived; how they made and foraged food, how they made tools and toys and exploring what their houses and shelters were like. We made bread in the cob oven and a clothes pin in the forge. We also got to see some amazing animals including wolves up close!
