Funding

The Department for Education allocated a Pupil Premium Grant of £140,390 for the period September 2024 to August 2025.

Schools are allocated the Pupil Premium grant based upon the number of pupils in any of the previous six years known to be either eligible for free school meals. 

Schools are able to spend the pupil premium as they wish; there is no expectation that an amount will be spent on any individual child.  As such, all children may well benefit from this grant. 

PE funding is also issued to all primary schools, who must use the funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE, sport and physical activity.
